Gladstone Regional Council Emergency Works – Auckland Creek

The Pipeline Drillers team did an excellent job battling the summer heat and an environmentally sensitive location as part of emergency works for Gladstone Regional Council. These works entailed a 710mm PN20 HDPE 180 meter HDD Crossing under Auckland Creek, Gladstone, Queensland.

Pipeline Drillers successfully completed a project for CPB Contractors which involved installing two (2) conduits under Goombi Fairymeadow Road, to help sustain gas production within the Appling’s development fields. The team did an excellent job to install the 2 x 60 meter lengths of 110mm & 180mm HDPE in rock ground conditions.

The crew at Pipeline Drillers recently completed two (2) Horizontal Directional Drilling road crossings (under Sundowns Road & Gadsbys Road) to install a high pressure gas pipeline, combining a total of 175 meters in length. These HDD installations took place within the Surat Basin, QLD as part of the Atlas Lateral Project for Spiecapag Australia.

ERIC Pipeline Project

Congratulations to the team at Pipeline Drillers who have successfully installed four (4) HDD crossings as part of the Eurombah Reedy Interconnect Pipeline (ERIC) Project for MPC Kinetic. This project consisted of four (4) HDD pipelines of 800m (710mm), 800m (500mm), 700m (710mm) and 700m (500mm), installed under two highly sensitive areas - Eurombah Creek and Slates Hill Creek.

Fulton Hogan Seymour Whyte Joint Venture engaged Pipeline Drillers to drill & install 800 meters of 710mm PN20 HDPE Pipe in various ground conditions under the busy Caloundra Road on the Sunshine Coast. This project forms part of the Caloundra Road to Sunshine Motorway Upgrade.

18 Meters Under Narrabri Creek

Tanami Natural Gas Pipeline Project

Pipeline Drillers battled the heat and extreme remote location of the Tanami Desert, North West of Alice Springs to install a total of 525 meters of steel gas pipe across five separate bores. The Pipeline Drillers team worked tirelessly to complete all five bores in the harsh conditions. The project was completed on time and within budget.

Water Corporation Success

Water Corporation recently engaged Pipeline Drillers to install two (2) bores of 530 meters and 1,340 meters, consisting of very soft sand ground conditions under valuable assets such as a major highway and protected wetlands in Perth, WA. Prior to the commencement of works, the combined knowledge of Pipeline Drillers' experts pursued to utilise the appropriate controls suited to the conditions of the area, which ultimately lead to the successful completion of a challenging project.

IPIPE - Wilkie Creek Crossing

Pipeline Drillers was challenged by Arrow Energy  Drillers to construct two (2) 235 meter HDD crossings beneath Wilkie Creek, West of Dalby, QLD, as part of Arrow Energy’s Titan Project. Varied ground conditions of sand and sandstone the crew successfully installed both a 630mm and 450mm HDPE pipe.

Bribie Island Ocean Outfall

Pipeline Drillers crew worked closely with Harcan Marine operations in a highly environmentally sensitive area to successfully construct one (1) single 175m HDD ocean outfall bore extending from the dunes to the ocean floor of Woorim Beach, Bribie Island, QLD.

Baffle Creek crossing delivered before the deluge

Pipeline Drillers has successfully replaced in record time, a 365 metre section of gas pipeline extending beneath Baffle Creek. The crew drilled and installed the new 100 millimetre steel pipe in just eight days, finishing up before the spring deluge hit.
