The APA Northern Goldfields Interconnect Pipeline (NGI) project involved the installation of seven horizontal directional drilling (HDD) crossings to support the expansion of critical gas infrastructure. Pipeline Drillers successfully completed the installation of 323mm steel pipelines across multiple bore locations, ensuring seamless connectivity within the network.

The project was carried out in favourable ground conditions, consisting of clay, sands, and sandstone, which allowed for smooth and efficient drilling. With careful planning and execution, the team achieved precise installations with minimal resistance, reducing the risk of delays and optimising project efficiency.

The use of HDD technology enabled trenchless construction, minimising environmental impact and ensuring uninterrupted land use in the surrounding areas. The project was delivered on time and within scope, showcasing Pipeline Drillers' expertise in executing complex pipeline installations with efficiency and precision.
