Scope

​

8” steel pipeline installed via a 1,030 m HDD crossing beneath the Brisbane River.

 

Challenges

​

Due to the entry angle of the bore hole, Pipeline
Drillers required the assistance of a number of cranes
to help guide the welded pipeline into position ready
for installation into the bore hole.

 

Outcome

​

This 1,030 m bore was drilled and installed within 18
days. Successful installation within budget and with
no Health, Safety or Environmental incidents.
