Scope

​

Installation of a 315mm pipeline for an ocean outfall
associated with a sewerage treatment plant, using a
single HDD bore of 330m.

Challenges

​​

The works required coordination of land and marine
procedures, including an ocean-based pullback
with dive teams. Delivery also involved mobilisation
of specialised equipment across the country and
management of environmental and stakeholder
requirements within a sensitive ecosystem.

Outcome

​

The HDD bore and ocean-based pullback were
completed to install the outfall pipeline. The works
drew on the equipment, tooling and skills required to
operate across marine and hard rock conditions.
